Cauley-Stein Announces Return For Junior Season

The first official declaration of future plans from a Kentucky Wildcat came Monday afternoon, and it is good news for Big Blue Nation. It was announced Monday that sophomore forward Willie Cauley-Stein will return to UK for the 2014-15 season. According to reports out of Lexington, Cauley-Stein said he wanted to return and have a chance to win a national championship, while also getting closer to earning his degree.

He added that he looks forward to helping UK return to the Final Four and to playing in front of the best fans in the nation. The 7-foot sophomore has 166 blocked shots in his career, which ranks sixth in UK history. The news is especially good for UK fans as Cauley-Stein had been viewed as one of the top candidates to go on to the NBA.
