Cadiz Man Charged With Jefferson Street Burglary



A Cadiz man is facing burglary and criminal trespassing charges after he was arrested the Cadiz Police Department Monday morning. Cadiz Police spokesman Sgt. Scott Brown says 52-year old Dondi Jones, of Cadiz, was arrested following a burglary investigation at a Jefferson Street residence. Jones was charged with 1st Degree Burglary, 2nd Degree Criminal Trespassing, and Receiving Stolen Property over $10,000.

Sgt. Brown says Jones had allegedly been removing items from an unoccupied Jefferson Street residence for a month or more. During the investigation, the suspect was caught on camera at the house. Police say between $15,000 and $20,000 worth of items were stolen from the house.
