Cadiz Woman Charged With Endangerment

A Cadiz woman is facing endangerment charges after her three children were found walking alone Sunday on Brown Street. According to the report from the Cadiz Police Department, Sgt. Scott Brown responded to the report of three children in the street on Wallace Avenue. When Brown arrived in the area, he located a 4-year old girl, and two 2-year old boys walking on Brown Street. One child was naked and another had a soiled diaper on.

It was determined through investigation that the children lived on Iron Street, about 200 yards from where they were found. Police say 41-year old Pauline Brasher was located asleep in her home and then notified that her children had left the home without her knowledge. The Department of Child Based Services was called to the scene, and the children were released to a family member. Brasher was charged with three counts of 2nd Degree Wanton Endangerment.
