Eddyville Mall Nearer To Opening

The new owners of the West Kentucky Factory Outlet Mall took another step toward re-invigorating Lyon County's economy on Friday. The Mayfield investment firm has taken possession of the Eddyville mall and is handing out keys to new tenants.

Lyon County Judge-executive Wade White says it's a good day for his community.

Judge White says the mall is just what local tourism has been missing.

White says he's especially looking forward to the opening of Shooters Supply in the mall.

White says he hopes the mall will be open by the end of summer or early fall.
