Princeton Police Officer Involved In Crash

Two Crittenden County residents and an on-duty Princeton Police Department officer were injured Saturday morning in a two vehicle accident. State Police say 22-year old Officer Benjamin Lane, of Princeton, was on duty and travelling eastbound on White Sulpher Road, when he apparently failed to stop at the intersection with Kentucky 91, and was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by 66-year old Donna Curnel, of Marion.

Curnel and her husband, 72-year old Donnie Curnel, 72, along with Lane were transported via ambulance to the Caldwell Medical Center for treatment.  Donna Curnel was later flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center. The accident occurred around 9:20am Saturday.
