General McConville Honored At Luncheon

This year's Commander and Command Sergeants Major Luncheon served as a Hail and Farewell Luncheon for Major General James McConville. The annual luncheon, attended by local dignitaries including Kentucky Senate President Robert Stivers, gives the Christian County community a chance to show its appreciation to Fort Campbell. McConville wanted the audience to know that being a good soldier requires a good home.

General McConville is up for promotion to Lt. General and not only enjoys looking back on his time as Commanding General of the 101st, but looks to the future, as well.

The luncheon is sponsored by the Christian County Chamber of Commerce, through its Military Affairs Committee.
