State Senate President In Western Kentucky

Kentucky Senate President Robert Stivers says he is spending this week in Western Kentucky to learn more about the districts represented by Senator Stan Humphries and Senator Whitney Westerfield. Stivers told the News Edge during a live interview Wednesday morning he has learned quite a bit about what drives the local economies.

Stivers adds hearing about issues on the minds of Western Kentucky residents will help him better understand local issues that come up in the General Assembly.

When asked about the success of his first year and a half as the leader of the Kentucky Senate, Stivers said he will let the people of Kentucky determine that.

Following a Wednesday morning stop at Transcraft International, in Cadiz, Stivers made stops in Eddyville, Murray, Mayfield and Paducah.
