Comcast Requests Delay On Franchise Agreement

The Hopkinsville Cable Oversight Authority has granted Comcast Cable a 35 day delay to respond to issues with their cable franchise agreement. City Administrative Officer Nate Pagan says the Cable Oversight Authority met Monday morning to discuss Comcast's request to receive the local cable franchise from Time Warner.

Pagan says they expect to workout the issues with Comcast representatives in the near future.

After the issues are resolved, the Authority will take their recommendation to Hopkinsville City Council for approval.
