Brice Long And Friends Concert Nears

It's almost time for the Brice Long and Friends Concert, the annual fundraiser for the Back 2 Back Foundation. Singer-songwriter and Hopkinsville native Brice Long says the concert is the only fundraiser for his foundation, which supports families in Christian and Trigg counties.

Long says the Foundation helped 31 families last year. He thinks this year's fundraiser will be even bigger.

Several of Long's songwriter friends will perform at the concert.

Long says he's grateful for the support of the songwriting community.

The event will include a silent auction with one-of-a-kind items like a guitar signed by Randy Houser, a generator donated by Garland Power Sports in Hopkinsville, a Tennessee Titans football, and a guitar signed by the members of the group Alabama.

The event will be Saturday, July 26, at 7 pm at the James E. Bruce Convention Center. Tickets will be $10 each, available at Hancock's Neighborhood Market; WKDZ-WHVO; Woodshed Barbecue; the Bruce Convention Center; Calhoun's Pool; Hearth and Patio; Christian County Chamber of Commerce; Cayce's Pharmacy; Creations by Tammy; and Staton's Framing.
