Inmate Walks Away From Christian County Work Detail

Law enforcement officials are on the lookout for an inmate who walked away from a work release detail in Christian County. State Police say they were notified by the Christian County Restricted Custody Care Center, around 11:30pm, that 26-year old Troy Lyons was on work release at the James E. Bruce Convention Center when he walked away.

Lyons is described as a white male, 5-7, 187 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes. Lyons was last seen wearing a red and white sweat shirt style shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.  He was incarcerated for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, and 2nd Degree Assault.
