Hopkinsville Man Charged After Head On Collision



Two people were transported following a two vehicle accident early Saturday morning on Fort Campbell Boulevard. According to the report, 29-year old James Kampfer, of Hopkinsville, was southbound, near the intersection with Nelson Drive, when his vehicle crossed over into the northbound lanes, and struck another vehicle head on.

The female driver of the vehicle, and her female passenger, were both transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following the crash, which occurred around 1:47am. Kampfer was charged with DUI and Driving on a Suspended License.
