Community Perception Survey Results



The results are in from the 2014 Community Perception Survey and the numbers say residents of Hopkinsville and Christian County are becoming more positive about the place they live. Yasmin Ausenbaugh Director of Christian County Cares 2015 says this is a way for them to gauge their success from the eyes of the community.



   

Ausenbaugh says they are pleased with the slow change in how people perceive the area.



   

She says the perception is that Hopkinsville and Christian County is improving.



   

The results show that 91 percent of respondents gave a positive response when asked if they were proud of Christian County. 80 percent feel safe living in Christian County but 72 percent are concerned that we do not have enough job opportunities in Christian County. Response to the survey was down from last year but up from 2012 with 288 surveys returned.
