Ramie Colson Ready for Season-Ending Bass Tourney

Cadiz angler Ramie Colson is one of 45 fishing pros competing this weekend in the Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Murray near Columbia, SC. The tournament is the season-capper for the Wal-Mart FLW Tour series and is the richest no-entry fee bass fishing tournament in America with a total purse of $1.4 million.

Colson qualified by finishing 16th in the FLW Series point standings, his best point finish in five years.  His appearance in the Forrest Wood Cup is the third of his career and first since 2009.  His best FWC finish was a 19th place finish in 2006.

In his career, Colson has three tour wins and 30 top-10 finishes.

Also in the FWC field this weekend is Paducah's Dan Morehead.
