Final Workday For Howie

Though he won't be leaving town until later this month, Friday was Hopkinsville Police Chief Guy Howie's last day on the job. Howie is retiring from the Hopkinsville Police Department after 6 years. He noted at the last City Council meeting that Hopkinsville has become a second home to him and he will miss it.

The Chief is returning to his hometown of Ocala, Florida where he will take a position as the Director of Support Services. Interim Chief Clayton Sumner was sworn in August 5th. Howie will be the featured Hopkinsville's Interesting Person next Wednesday on Hoptown This Morning.
