Sinking Fork Baptist Church reaches out to Eagle Butte, South Dakota - The members of Sinking Fork Baptist Church would like to ask for our Communities Support in collecting adult size items of the following: extreme weather coats, gloves, hats, wool socks and waterproof boots. 7:00 PM - Join us for the first ever WKDZ/WHVO Heart Walk Variety Show, at Lakeland Jamboree, 61 Jefferson Street, in downtown Cadiz. It will be a fun night filled with lots of music - from Contemporary Christian to Southern Gospel/Bluegrass to Country & Oldies. Plus a little bit of comedy. Featuring the WKDZ/WHVO staff. Cost is $5 at the door - with half the proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association. Additional donations greatly appreciated. Sit back, relax, and  let us entertain you. Then give a generous donation and help us meet our $1500 goal for the American Heart Association. Also, we encourage you to put together your own team for the Heart Walk at Bradford Square Mall on February 21st.

9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon - Children's Ministry Day at Liberty Point Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Cadiz. We need YOUR help to make special bags for foster children in our area. Join us for a morning of food, fun and activities. Please bring new items to donate for children, birth to 10 years old. Acceptable items include: Toiletry items, long sleeve T-Shirts, socks, underwear, sweatshirts and pants, coats, shoes, games, stuffed animals, baby wipes, diapers, and onesies.

9:00 AM Check In Begins, 10:00 AM Run Begins - The Haiti Medical Mission Team is hosting a 2 mile Fun Run. It will begin at the Field House (Beside the Football Field) at Trigg County Schools. This fundraiser will benefit underprivileged adults and children in Haiti. All Donations will be used to fund this trip. The Hopkinsville YMCA and Celebrate Recovery have created a new partnership to bring recovery to hurting and broken people in Christian County. The YMCA and Celebrate Recovery are sharing a building located at 913 South Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville (across from Harper House and next door to Ferrell’s).

Celebrate Recovery is a Christian based 12 Step Recovery Program based on eight principles from the Beatitudes. Celebrate Recovery is free and open to anyone interested in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction, divorce, co-dependency and other addictions. Cadiz United Methodist Church has a meal each Wednesday night at 5:30 PM. Come and have a free meal and enjoy the company of others. The meal is free and the relationships formed are priceless!

Visit the Emmanuel Free Gospel Thrift Store located in the old A1 Furniture Store, 6th Street in Hopkinsville. Store hours 9 AM - 5PM - closed Thursday and Sunday. They accept donations - for free pickup call James at 484-1740 or Donna at 987-2760.

Every Friday - 12 Noon - You are invited to join in a Prayer Circle for the City of Hopkinsville by the fountain at Little River Park.  Open to all who wish to participate.  The Prayer Circle will gather every Friday regardless of weather.

The Coffee CONNECTION has recently opened its doors at 910 South Main Street in Hopkinsville.  They will offer free coffee, tea, soft drinks, snacks and internet service.  Visitors are welcome to come in for quiet reading, knitting, or bring your group for a quiet meeting.  They will operate only on donations.
