Murder Trial Against David Markle Postponed

A relatively new defense attorney and a new prosecutor mean a 2015 murder case is again being rescheduled. David Markle has been in jail since the November 2015 fatal shooting of Justin Fish on Calvin Drive. Defense Attorney, Bill Maddox told Christian Circuit Judge Andrew Self that he had not had time to meet with the psychiatrist.


   

Commonwealth’s Attorney, Lynn Pryor just took over the case, when assistant attorney Michael Cotthoff left her office. She told the judge she was okay will postponing the February 5th trial. The trial has been moved to the week of August 6th. A pretrial conference was set for March 14th.
