A Christian County High School student is facing a charge after allegedly threatening fellow students. The Christian County Sheriff's Office says the School Resource Officer arrested a 17-year old Monday afternoon following threats he made on social media and to other students. He reportedly told them to "not come to school tomorrow." The student was charged with 2nd Degree Terroristic Threatening.
Christian County Public Schools Spokeswoman, Heather Lancaster says when administration learned of the threat they contacted law enforcement.
She adds every threat is handled promptly and with care.
As for Christian County High School, she says students should be in classes.
School officials say they have heard the rumors and want parents to know there was no weapon found.
