Police have released the name of the homicide victim found at a Bennett Drive apartment over the weekend. Police identified the victim as 23 year old Tavon Wilson of Clarksville.
Police responded to a shooting around 10:45 Sunday morning at 119 Bennett Drive and found Wilson inside the apartment with a gunshot wound. Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says Wilson was alone inside the apartment when officers arrived.
Knoll says the crime scene was processed and detectives are following up on leads, but are not currently looking for a specific person.
