Police say a call from a fast food restaurant about a woman causing a disturbance at the drive-thru window and smelling like alcoholic beverages led to her second DUI arrest. 39-year old Daneshia Weaver was charged with Driving Under the Influence With Aggravating Circumstances and Possession of an Open Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle.
Hopkinsville Police say Weaver was arrested shortly after 11:40 Monday night after they received a call from Taco Bell on North Drive. An officer reportedly saw a vehicle matching the description driving on North Drive and crossing the center line several times and continuously changing speeds. Upon contact with Weaver, police say she had a strong smell of alcoholic beverages coming from her and officers observed an open beer in the center console.
Weaver was booked into the Christian County Jail.
