Upon arrival, police say Quick had trouble maintaining his balance and his speech was slow. Officers indicate Quick also failed field sobriety tests and blew a .209 a preliminary breathalyzer test. During a search of his vehicle, police say they found a nearly empty pint of whiskey.
Quick was taken into custody and transported to Christian County Jail where he was administered another breathalyzer and registered a .182. He was booked into the jail for his second offense of Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influece, and Possession of an Open Achololic Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle.
According to police, Quick was previously arrested for DUI on the afternoon of December 25 when officers responded to a collision in the 600 block of Braden Street. Police say they did not find a wreck, but found Quick passed out behind the wheel with the keys in the ignition and the vehicle running parked on the grass.
