White Plains Man Charged After Hopkins County Pursuit

Police say a reckless driving complaint led to a pursuit and the arrest of a White Plains man. Kentucky State Police report they received the call around 5:35 Sunday afternoon about a Jeep driving recklessly in Nortonville, which was located by a trooper on US Highway 62, just outside of Nortonville.

Upon activating his emergency equipment, police say the driver continued eastbound on US Highway 62 and continued on until the driver, 25-year old Christopher Kennedy, turned onto Kentucky 813 an into a driveway in White Plains. Kennedy was taken into custody without further incident.

Kennedy, of White Plains, was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail charged with 2nd Degree Fleeing and Evading Police Motor Vehicle, DUI, Reckless Driving, No Operator's License, Failure to Wear Seatbelt, and Failure to Illuminate Head Lamps.
