The Cadiz Police Department is offering church pastors, security officers, greeters and others a chance to learn more about spotting a potential threat. The training takes place Thursday, February 1, at 6:00.
Cadiz Police Major Duncan Wiggins says the training is for those who would be most likely to come in contact with someone posing a threat in a church.
Wiggins says the guest speaker is well-qualified to discuss how to identify someone posing a threat.
He says they are hoping those attend the training will come away with a better sense of what to be on the lookout for.
Major Wiggins says the training is open to any pastor or church security officer from the area.
