Hulsizer Named NWTF Veteran Of The Year

A Trigg County veteran is being recognized for his service by the National Wild Turkey Federation. Trigg Shooters Supply owner Chad Hulsizer was named Veteran of the Year the Trigg County Longspurs Chapter Saturday night during their annual banquet and auction at Lake Barkley State Park.

Chapter member Pee Wee Harris saluted Hulsizer for his service that began in 2007 and included deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Harris says Hulsizer’s decorated military career came to an end at Fort Campbell.

Hulsizer is an active member of the Trigg County Longspurs Chapter and plays a major role in the auction each year.

President Benji Harper presented National Wild Turkey Federation scholarships to Kaylin Smith and Marshall Evans.

And Harper presented donations from the Longspurs Chapter to the Trigg County FFA, 4-H, Fishing Club and the Arrowcats.
