A Fort Campbell soldier was recently recognized on the floor of the state House of Representatives in Frankfort for his heroic action last summer. Ninth District state Representative Myron Dossett presented a resolution that was passed by the House honoring Staff Sergeant Nicholas Davis.
Dossett adds sometimes we forget how fortunate we are to have great men and women in the military that not only put their lives on the line while deployed, but also here at home.
He says Sergeant Davis was awarded the Soldier’s Medal.
The House adjourned Friday in honor of Sergeant Davis, who was awarded the medal on January 22 at Fort Campbell.
