Plans are already shaping up to rebuild the kitchen and office area at Patti’s Restaurant in Grand Rivers. That was among the portion of the building that was destroyed by a fire Monday morning.
Grand Lakes Fire Chief Charles Watkins says firefighters were called to the restaurant around 8:00.
Watkins says the maintenance staff and some of the cooks were already at the business working.
He says plans are already in the works to rebuild the damaged portion of the restaurant.
Watkins adds tourism will be significantly impacted by the fire that resulted in the closure of the restaurant.
