An 8th grade student at Christian County Middle School, Madison Winkler was recognized last week as the February student of the month by Christian County School Board members. School officials say Madison is a well-rounded student who successfully balances her academic and extracurricular responsibilities, according to her Principal Kevin Crowder as well as her teachers. She is a straight A student and challengers herself by taking Geometry at the high school level. She has been selected as a Mayor's Scholars finalist and is Vice President of the Junior BETA Club. She also excels in her extracurricular activities by being involved in the Christian County Marching Band and by being a member of the Christian County Lady Colonels softball program.
