Police are investigating a wanton endangerment and theft case after a man was reportedly his phone was stolen and he was run over by a vehicle. Demario Braxton filed a report with Hopkinsville Police that around 9:30 Thursday night he was in the 400 block of Henderson Drive when an unknown suspect stole Braxton's cell phone and then tried to run him over with the suspect's car. The report says Braxton ended up on the hood of the suspect's car and eventually fell off the hood, causing minor injuries.
The suspect is described on the report as a black male, aroudn 21 years of age, 5'7", and 140 pounds.
No other details were provided on the report.
