Red Cross Trying To Reach Out To Tornado Victims

The American Red Cross is trying to reach out to those that were living in eighteen units affected by the tornado that hit Eagle Crossing Apartments on February 24. Kathy Hayes with the Christian County Chapter of the American Red Cross tells the News Edge they are having trouble reaching out and finding those in the units that have not come by the Red Cross to get assistance or referrals. She says they want to let them know they are trying to wrap up this event, because there is a lot of flooding up north and they want to free up their case workers.

Hayes adds individuals in the eighteen units of D, E, and F at Eagle Crossing Apartments can come by the American Red Cross office, located at 709 South Main Street in Hopkinsville, from 8:00am until 4:00pm Monday through Friday for assistance.
