A Hopkins County inmate who escaped and allegedly stole a City of Madisonville truck last week has been captured. Kentucky State Police report 40-year old Wilton Hollifield was arrested at Noon Monday by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Department.
Hollifield has been on the run since 11:00 Thursday of last week after police say he was on work detail at Madisonville City Hall when he stole a City truck and fled.
When Hollifield escaped, he was serving a sentence in the Hopkins County Jail for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and 3rd Degree Burglary.
