A Nortonville man was arrested over the weekend for meth possession and other charges after he allegedly tried to steal a boat and trailer. Kentucky State Police say they received a complaint just after 4:30 Saturday afternoon that a motorcycle was trying to steal a boat and trailer from a foreclosed property in Nortonville. Upon arrival at the property, a trooper came in contact with 46-year old David Harvey and learned there was a warrant issued for his arrest. Police report Harvey was taken into custody and also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Harvey was booked into the Hopkins County Jail charged with 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 3rd Degree Criminal Trespassing, and Failure to Notify Address Change to Department of Transportation.
