Authorities say two Princeton women were charged with trafficking drugs after a search warrant was executed at a home on McGoodwin Court Thursday afternoon.

Princeton Police Chief Chris King reports officers assisted the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force in execution of the warrant at a home in the 600 block shortly before 4:30pm after an investigation into the illegal selling of narcotics at the residence.

During the search, officers reportedly seized a large amount of powder cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and more than $4,800 in cash.

51-year old Karen Radford was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (2nd or subsequent offense greater than 4 grams of cocaine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.

Police say 26-year old Tamika Copeland of Princeton was cited to court for Trafficking Marijuana (less than 8 ounces), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
