More than 40 Christian County Public School staff members were honored during a retirement reception at the Board of Education Thursday night.
Superintendent Mary Ann Gemmill spoke to the retirees before the school board meeting and expressed the district’s gratitude for their many years of dedicated service.

Not all of the 42 retirees were on hand at the reception. Chief Administrative Officer Laura Morris did tell the News Edge she believes more staff members will retire in the next two weeks.
