Three organizations were presented checks for more than $800 during the regular weekly meeting of the Hopkinsville Rotary Club Tuesday.
Rotary President Chris Gilkey tells the News Edge a committee selected the three organizations as benefactors of the 2nd Annual United in Praise event held in February.
Three checks in the amount of $816.50 were presented to Alpha Alternative representative Amanda Westerfield, Tamara Standard of the Aaron McNeil House, and Sanctuary Executive Director Heather Lancaster.
