The Hopkinsville Rotary Club continued its support for students of Christian County and higher education at Hopkinsville Community College Tuesday. The club’s recent fundraising efforts allowed them to give $200,000 to its Hopkinsville Rotary Scholars Endowment with the HCC Foundation.
The program, announced in 2008 enrolled its first class of students in 2012, and recently graduated 42 students from the program at commencement earlier this month. The Hopkinsville Rotary Scholars Program provides students the opportunity for students who live in Christian County to go to HCC tuition-free.
