Police say a trespassing call over the weekend led to a Murray man being charged with trafficking marijuana.
According to Hopkinsville Police, officers responded to the call at 1100 Bark Ridge Circle shortly after 12:30 Sunday morning. Upon contact with 21-year old Matthew Hull, officers say they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During a search, they reportedly found a large bag of green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, several baggies with marijuana residue and a large marijuana cigarette. Police say Hull admitted the large bag was his and that it was about four ounces.
Hull was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana Less than 8 ounces and cited to court on July 9th.
