Officials with the Downtown Renaissance District is looking for input and feedback from community members for the next phase of the revitalization effort in downtown Hopkinsville. Downtown Renaissance Director Holly Boggess tells the News Edge they have been authorized by Hopkinsville City Council to enter into a contract with Walker Collaborative, a consulting firm in Nashville, Tennessee to the help the revitalization in downtown move forward.

She notes several stakeholder meetings in which they gathered feedback from various sectors of the community to give to the consultants to see how the City needs to move forward with revitalizing downtown.

Boggess says their next set or meetings will be July 11th and 12th. She notes they will be sending out invitations to anyone who is interested in attending.
