A Crofton man is facing multiple charges after he was arrested on a warrant Friday night for allegedly assaulting and holding a woman at gunpoint.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reports 38-year old Larry Croft, II was taken into custody on Madisonville Road on charges of 4th Degree Assault Domestic Violence Minor Injury, 3rd Degree Terroristic Threatening, Harassing Communications, 1st Degree Unlawful Imprisonment, 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment and 2nd Degree Stalking.
On June 21, according to the warrant, Croft slammed the female victim into the bathroom door frame and hit her in the face with his fist causing swelling. He then reportedly threatened her freedom and life and held her against her will at gunpoint and barricaded himself in the house with an AK47 and buried explosives in the yard. Croft also allegedly goes to the victim’s place of business after being told to leave her alone multiple times, and sent her over 400 text messages over a three day period.
Croft was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
