Tour groups are being invited to tour the Land Between the Lakes Region. Lake Barkley State Resort Park Group Sales Manager, Kerry Allen, and Friends of the Land Between the Lakes Director of Sustainability and Outreach, Jennifer Wheatley, recently attended the Spotlight on the Southeast Travel Show in Birmingham Alabama, representing the Lakes Region Coalition.
Wheatley says the Spotlight show is designed to connect tour bus operators and destination coordinators to help spread tourism into small towns.

Wheatley adds tours put on by the coalition are focusing on eatery, hotels, and attractions.

She says they have had a large response to the tourism in the area, including their past tour, the Southern Cooks tour.

The coalition will be having many upcoming tours for everyone to take part in the future.
