Man Charged With DUI And Trafficking Meth

A traffic stop in Hopkins County Thursday night led to the arrest of a Madisonville man for trafficking drugs.

Kentucky State Police report 23-year old David Parker was stopped around 10:40 p.m. for driving a vehicle carelessly in Earlington. Police say they discovered Parker was under the influence. During a search of the vehicle, police reportedly found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Parker was booked into the Hopkins County Jail charged with Careless Driving, Driving Under the Influence, 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Over or Equal to 2 Grams of Meth), Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
