A motorcyclist was killed in a crash at the intersection of Kentucky 348 and Cone Road in Marshall County Thursday night.
A preliminary investigation conducted by Kentucky State Police says the wreck occurred at 6:15 p.m. when 54-year old Jack Clark, Jr. of Benton was operating a motorcycle west on KY 348 and crashed into the rear of a vehicle driven by 39-year old Robin Caruso of Benton, who was stopped waiting to turn onto Cone Road. Police say Clark’s motorcycle crossed into the eastbound lane and was then hit by a SUV driven by 43-year old Todd Whitis of Mayfield.
Police say Clark was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead on the scene by the Marshall County coroner.
