The Christian County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the motorcyclist killed in a wreck on Pilot Rock Road at Rocky Ridge Road Monday. Deputy Coroner Zach Lamb identified the victim as 71-year old Richard C. Noel, Jr. of Hopkinsville.
Christian County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Lyn Moe tells the News Edge the wreck occurred Monday morning when the motorcyclist was on his way to work and hit a deer.
Lt. Moe says Noel’s body wasn’t found until around 1:00 Monday afternoon.
Noel is the father of Mandi Meacham whose husband, Phillip was a Hopkinsville Police officer shot and killed in March while he was off-duty.
