An Oak Grove man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly stealing a vehicle.
Hopkinsville Police say a 2008 gold Chrysler Town and Country mini-van was reported stolen around 3:30 Saturday afternoon by a resident in the 2100 block of Hazel Street. Officers received a call that 52-year old Michael Evans had stolen the vehicle. Police say the vehicle was located and Evans admitted to taking the mini-van while doing drug and leaving it somewhere, but he couldn’t recall where he left it.
Evans was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking – Auto $500 or more buy under $10,000.
