Plans are in the works to better train Todd County students for potential jobs at the Novelis manufacturing facility that is under construction in Guthrie.
Todd County Standard Publisher Ryan Craig says that was the focus of a recent meeting between a number of community education partners in the county.

Craig says they are hoping the targeted education initiative will help prepare students to work at Novelis after they graduate.

Novelis is scheduled to begin producing automotive aluminum at the Guthrie plant in 2020. The ground was broken in May for the $300 million 400,000 square foot facility that will employ up to 125 people.
