Officials are continuing urge drivers to use caution when traveling along the U.S. 68 Bypass in Trigg County.
County Judge Executive Hollis Alexander says the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has addressed some issues since re-routing traffic Friday along the bypass south of Cadiz.
Alexander says the transportation cabinet has looked into the possibility of stoplights around the bypass following suggestions by Magistrate Mike Wright.
The prime contractor for the Cadiz Bypass project, Rogers Group, is continuing to work on the final paving and finishing of the highway. No date has been released for a possible complete opening of the new bypass.
