Authorities are investigating an assault in which a woman suffered a broken nose and several other facial injuries. According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, an argument occurred on September 9 at Cave Run Apartments in which 28-year old LaQuana Sutton was in an argument with her child’s father when it turned physical.
Sutton stated to deputies that during the argument, the father took the child and threw him on the couch and started hitting her in the face and then tried to force her over the second story balcony but was unsuccessful. Deputies say Sutton went to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for an examination where she was diagnosed with a broken nose and other visible injuries to her mouth, face, and jaw.
At this time, no arrest has been made and the suspect’s information has been redacted by deputies on the report.
