The inaugural Hoptown Harvest Festival will be held this weekend in downtown Hopkinsville.
Community Development Assistant Director and Downtown Renaissance Director Holly Boggess says the event kicks off Thursday evening at 5:00 with the Museum’s Supper in the Cemetery inside the Riverside Chapel.
Boggess adds the event will continue Friday night with a feast and music at the Downtown Farmers Market pavilion.

Laura Faulkner with Community and Development Services says the weekend will be topped off on Saturday with the 2nd annual Kentucky Bourbon Mashoree.

She adds there will also be free admission for children’s activities in the parking lot of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, and their headliner takes the stage Saturday evening.

Boggess says they will also have transportation available.

In addition, Boggess states food trucks will also be located in Founder’s Square and all of the downtown restaurants will be offering specials on Saturday.
