The Minority Economic Development Initiative (MEDI) in Hopkinsville will be hosting a special football game towards the end of October. The F.E. Whitney Classic game will be held at Stadium of Champions on Saturday night, October 27.
Executive Director of MEDI Henry Snorton III says the organization is an economic development organization that impacts communities and economies for improvement through education, entrepreneurship, small, minority, and women-owned business development in western Kentucky.
Snorton adds sports tourism has a huge impact on communities.
The Inaugural F.E. Whitney Classic game will be the first classic game ever held in Hopkinsville.
