UPDATE-Fifth Suspect Arrested In Todd Murder

The fifth person wanted in connection to the murder of a Guthrie man that occurred Sunday on Stateline Road in Todd County is now in custody.

Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville says 41-year old Douglas Ray Cropper of Oakland, Kentucky was arrested early Friday morning and lodged in the Warren County Jail. He is charged with one count of Complicity to Murder, and one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Kentucky State Police reported Wednesday that four people were arrested and charged in connection to the fatal shooting of Jerry Robertson of Guthrie. 31-year old Daniel Westbrook of Russellville is charged with Murder and 26-year old Brandi Scruggs of Guthrie, 36-year old Timmie Latham of Bowling Green, and 22-year old Faith Martin, also of Bowling Green, are charged with Complicity to Murder and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Westbrook and Scruggs are lodged in the Logan County Jail, and Latham and Martin are lodged in the Hart County Jail.

Troopers were called to Stateline Road shortly after 4:30 Sunday afternoon to check out a suspicious vehicle. When troopers arrived they found Robertson had been fatally shot and he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Todd County Coroner.
