Three Trigg County residents are facing drug charges after being arrested early Sunday morning.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Office reports they were dispatched to call at a home on Francis Lane around 12:30 a.m. where several people were smoking meth in a garage with children present. When a deputy arrived, 57-year old Harvey Shemwell Jr. consented to a search of his home in which the deputy reportedly found a small baggie with two crystal rocks that field tested positive for meth.
26-year old Sierrah Mathis and 22-year old Brandon Willey were also inside the home. All three were lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Shemwell and Mathis were also charged with possession of marijuana.
