The trial date was set yet again for a Hopkinsville man accused in a fatal shooting at a Calvin Drive apartment nearly three years ago.
During court Wednesday, records indicate Christian Circuit Court Judge Andrew Self scheduled the trial of David Markle to begin on March 11, 2019. Markle is charged with murder in connection to shooting Justin Fish multiple times at an apartment on Calvin Drive on November 6, 2015.
Markle was scheduled to go to trial in February, but it was postponed due to Commonwealth’s Attorney Lynn Pryor taking over the case when Michael Cotthoff left her office. The trial was moved to the week of August 6th but again was postponed.
In court Wednesday, Judge Self also scheduled Markle to be back in court for a pretrial conference on January 9th.
